CHAIR’S REPORT

Care2Serve is the service arm of Carers Tasmania. Care2Serve delivers supports and services to Tasmanian carers, including under the Australian Government’s Carer Gateway and the Tasmanian Government’s Home and Community Care program.

In 2024/25, the Board of Carers Tasmania welcomed Izzy Dewar and Lisa McConnon as Directors, and farewelled Director Kirstin Winspear. Together with our Chief Executive Officer, Dr Samantha Fox, and the staff of Care2Serve, we continued to implement actions from our Strategic Plan 2023-26, including our First Nations Charter and Disability Access and Inclusion Plan.

Our dedicated, caring and professional team at Care2Serve worked hard to serve Tasmania’s 87,000 unpaid family and friend carers, providing or connecting carers with services to build and sustain their capacity to care for family or friends.
